My care coordinator, Regina Smith, has been dependable, reliable and extremely helpful to me throughout the 4 years in which she was my care coordinator (2019-2023). I found it easy to talk to Regina about anything, and she provided me with a stable hearing ear when I was unhappy, anxious or stressed. This helped me to maintain my recovery, and cope when times were difficult.
Regina always contacted me or saw me promptly, when we had arranged. I always knew that when I needed to speak with her, even if she was busy, she would ring me back as soon as she could. She recognised my symptoms and difficulties, and provided me with a direct connection to my consultant, Dr. Ahmed. Regina would convey updates about me to Dr. Ahmed and arrange an appointment for me to see him, every time I needed to. Communication was always excellent, and really useful.
Regina is now moving on to work on a different team in the trust. I am sorry that she is not my care coordinator anymore, but due to the outstanding care she gave me, but I feel strong enough to grow onwards and work well with my new care coordinator (and beyond).
Thank you Regina, you are the best.
very happy
My daughter has recently had her first baby and has unfortunately, had a really tough time through pregnancy and postpartum. The level of care and support she has received has not been great, until she was under Maggie's care. Maggie has been brilliant and it has been so refreshing to have this level of support.
The care I received was amazing, it was easy to contact the team who responded quickly and arrange appointments on the same day when required. Have Racheal as my main contact provided continuity of care, she was amazing during a crisis, provided support and ensured I accessed the right level of support.
I feel very fortunate to have been under the care of Oxford Long Covid team, my GP was very responsive and flowing advice on medications to treat some of my symptoms as advised by LC physicians.
I was able to access the following courses: Breath workshop, Continuing progress workshop, Talking Space and ENO breath course. Support in applying for a Blue Badge.
Having support for someone who understands fatigue/dysautonomia and related issues was so helpful, having regular appointments via video was so helpful as avoided additional traveling to and from work.
I feel that here in Oxfordshire we are so fortunate to have this service and grateful for the care I received enabling and reinforcing self care and self management tools to manage and aid recovery. As I'm no discharged from the service its so reassuring that if I need support in the future its only an email away.
I liked playing with the balls and I love stretching.
Julie has been fantastic in the support and guidance she has offered us within the setting, we couldn't be more grateful.
idk

Bcause it was all helping me with my condition
Any queries that I had were answered efficiently, everything we covered in our sessions were always necessary and insightful. I'd be lost without them :)
